WOPET Automatic Pet Feeder setup

Post by MichelTemer »

To set up a WOPET automatic pet feeder, first assemble the feeder, attach the bowl, and fill the reservoir with dry food. Next, plug in the power adapter and optionally insert batteries for backup power. Then, program the feeding schedule, which involves setting the current time, followed by the meal times and portions. For Wi-Fi models, download the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the feeder to your network.

Initial physical setup
  1. Assemble: Place the main unit on a flat surface and attach the stainless steel bowl.
  2. Install Desiccant Bag: Open the food reservoir lid and insert the desiccant bag into the holder on the underside of the lid.
  3. Fill with Food: Pour dry pet food into the reservoir, making sure not to exceed the maximum fill line.
  4. Connect Power: Plug in the Type-C power adapter for continuous use. For backup, insert D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.
Programming the feeder
  1. Set the Clock: Press and hold the "Time" and "MIC" buttons for 3 seconds to unlock the screen. Press the "Time" button and use the arrow buttons to set the correct hour, then press "Time" again. Repeat for the minutes.
  2. Set Meals: Go to "Meal" settings. Use the "Hour" and "Minute" buttons to set the time for each meal. Select the portion size by pressing the "Meal Size" button.
  3. Record a Voice Message: Press and hold the "MIC" button until the screen flashes, then speak your message into the microphone. Release the button to stop recording.
For Wi-Fi models
  1. Download the App: Download the WOPET app on your smartphone.
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect to your feeder's Wi-Fi network. The LED indicator on the feeder should be flashing to indicate it's in pairing mode.
  3. Connect to Router: Once the feeder is connected to your phone's Wi-Fi network, you can switch your phone back to your home Wi-Fi router.
